 Last week we introduced you to Ghent and the picturesque little village of Deurle. This week we're discovering the hip vibes of fashion city Antwerp.

 Besides delicious foodie spots and trendy fashion neighborhoods, Antwerp has a lot more in store for you. Historical discoveries around the Grote Markt, various museums, impressive architecture, there is something for everyone. The Clio team is excited to share her favorite to do's.

The MAS and the Eilandje district

The MAS, Museum aan de Stroom, has been a unique meeting place of the city since 2011. You will discover the place that Antwerp has had in the world over the centuries thanks to its port. Located in the heart of the trendy harbour district of the Eilandje, this architectural jewel has become an emblem of the city. From the MAS you can take a stroll to discover the second largest port in Europe or go for an ice cream on the Eilandje.

The Havenhuis

The Havenhuis is an architectural masterpiece, and one of the most recent architectural jewel of Antwerp. It was designed by the famous architect Zaha Hadid. This modern and monumental building is the new headquarters of the Antwerp Port Authority.

Take time to admire the diamond-shaped superstructure. You can plan a tour of the building and enjoy the panoramic view of the port and the city.

The Verbeke Foundation

Inspiring, artistic and impressive, don't hesitate and go and discover this extraordinary art site. The Verbeke Foundation is half an hour's drive from Antwerp. This open-air museum is full of artistic and unusual treasures.

Stroll around the domain and take your time to discover its own collections and temporary exhibitions. The exhibition houses an impressive collection of modern and contemporary art.
